Alpod is a well-known solid floor retail company and one of the largest in east-south Europe. As we are starting with the production of custom-made designed parquet, we are searching for an innovative marketing approach, for the launch of this segment in Europe as well as worldwide.
Initial Problem Description
With the new range of self-made eye-catching solid wood floors, we want to add value to the brand ALPOD.
In the name of raising brand affinity, and product awareness, we want to prepare a penetrating marketing campaign for the existing customers as well as to attract new partners for our company. For that purpose, the team should propose how to generate strong leads. As we want to have an innovative approach to that action we want from the team ideas
From the team, we expect also to define the ROI of that campaign.
Context
The problem of a marketing campaign can be penetration in relation to the invested funds. With the campaign of the future, due to the uniqueness of the product, we could help reach a larger number of potential customers with the same inputs. The reach of the campaign can be problematic, as well as the targeting of the right potential customers, which represents a unique challenge.
Connection to cross-cutting areas
Our products are made from wood, which is a 100% natural product. It can be recycled many times and provides general sustainability in our environment. Through production, we will not use hazardous treatments as well our product will be VOC-free. The electricity used for machining the product will be 100% produced from solar panels.
Input
We already have in-house marketing, which could give the team some direction and support the team with analytics that we already made. As we are a multi-national company we know the trend difference for countries where we have our retail stores. If needed we can collect also some data from customers who are located in countries where we do not have our stores.
Expectations
We expect innovative thinking from the members of the team, which could give us some ideas for the marketing approach for the campaign of the new range of products portfolio. The solution could include also suggestions on what shapes of new products could we add to our range of products to enlarge the effect of the marketing campaign.
Desired Team Profile
We are looking for a diverse innovative team, that could give us out-of-the-box ideas. Any background in marketing or sales could be helpful, but many ideas could be generated from IT or design students for example, so we are looking forward to working with a diverse team.
Understanding of empowering of branding with niche products will be crucial.
