Iskra Mehanizmi, a Slovenian company, is targeting to acquire more business by producing and selling actuators, BLDC motors, BLDC stepper motors and solenoids but is somehow unable to do it either due to very low market recognition, struggle of finding the right market segment and the right approach to get undert the skin of customers.
Initial Problem Description
1. First problem of Iskra Mehanizmi is market recognition. Many potential customers do not know that Iskra Mehanizmi exists. We have a web page, we are present on social media, we visit fairs and try to contact over the phone new and existing customers, however as it seems it is not enough. What can we do?
2. Second problem is how and which market segment to target in order to maximize the business? We already performed several technical benchmarks but with no luck. Is there any other approach?
3. Third problem is how to get under the skin of potential customers? Usually, it is hard for customers to award us a business, because they do not know us.

Iskra Mehanizmi is a Slovenian company producing mechatronic solutions (custom made drives, actuators and solenoids). About 800 employees try to deliver and sell these products, however the obstacle is how to acquire new business. The path towards success is hard and we need tools to improve our recognition on the market, to find new trendy market segment, to have a way to get under the skin of customers. Desired Team Profile
We are flexible in terms of chosing the right team profile, however the members of the team must have knowledge and experience in mechatronics and economics if we want to connect the product portfolio to the market and business. The preffered way would be to have an interdisciplinary team profile, so the outcome would be a result of different views on to the mentioned topic.
