Desired outcome
In the era of factories 4.0, where automation and robotics play an increasingly important role, sharing resources and human labor may prove more effective than investing in expensive technologies. Holkap implemented the webMagazyn platform, which enables the management of warehouses with a distributed structure from one place, which is an innovative solution in the logistics industry.
Initial Problem Description
Attracting both customers and partners who share resources is a significant challenge. The obstacle is the traditional thinking of company managers on resource management. They do not extend economic calculation to include parameters covering the issue of resource sharing, which ultimately leads to irrational decisions. We are unable to overcome this barrier to fully implement our solution everywhere in the world..
Context
The problem arises when we ask for sharing warehouse resources and utilizing vacant spaces in company warehouses as a way to optimize costs. Flexibility of logistics services: The internationalization of the employment structure and the shortage of permanent employees do not force a flexible approach to resource management.
- Unpredictability of customer needs: The variability of orders and the ease of moving production to other parts of the world are a challenge for logistics planning.
- Sharing of warehouse resources: The management of empty warehouses is not included in company management strategies
Connection to cross-cutting areas
The challenge of optimizing logistics costs in the era of factories 4.0 is closely linked to the area of industry 4.0 and digitalization. Here's how these connections are shaped:
Industry 4.0 and digitalization.
- Automation and robotization; The introduction of automation and robotization in logistics processes can significantly reduce operating costs, while increasing the efficiency and precision of operations.
- Internet of Things (IoT): Using IoT to monitor and manage warehouse resources in real time allows for better use of space and reduction of costs related to maintaining excess inventory.
- Data analysis: Advanced data analysis allows for demand forecasting and optimization of logistics processes, which translates into reduced storage and transportation costs.
- Digital platforms: Such as webMagazines, allow for the management of warehouses with a distributed structure from one place, which increases the transparency of operations and allows for better cost control.
Circular Economy:
- Resource Sharing: The concept of sharing warehouse resources is consistent with the circular economy model, where resources are used more efficiently and sustainably.
- Waste Reduction: Optimizing logistics processes can reduce waste, both in the form of excess inventory and unnecessary shipments.
Overall Sustainability:
- Energy Efficiency: Introducing energy-efficient technologies in warehouses and distribution centers can help reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions.
- Sustainable Transport: Optimizing transport routes and using eco-friendly means of transport can reduce logistics costs and reduce the negative impact
Input
1. Reorganizing the warehouse layout to increase the efficiency of space utilization.
2. Using modern warehouse management technologies, such as WMS (Warehouse Management System), which can help in better space and inventory management.
3. Converting unused buildings into warehouses, which can be a cheaper alternative than building new facilities.
4. Using vacant premises in strategic locations to create a network of warehouses closer to customers, which can shorten delivery times and reduce logistics costs.
5. Creating a network of smaller warehouses in cooperation with other companies on the basis of sharing unused warehouse resources instead of one central one, which can increase flexibility and speed of response to changes in demand.
6. Locating warehouses closer to points of sale or end customers, which can reduce transportation costs and delivery time.
7. Cooperating with other companies to jointly use warehouse space, which can reduce the costs of maintaining warehouses.
8. Renting excess space to other companies, which can be a source of additional income.
9. Use of temporary or mobile warehouses that can be quickly installed and dismantled depending on needs.
10. Use of automated mobile storage systems with high versatility, which allows for flexible adjustment of storage space to changing needs without increasing employment.
Expectations
1. The marketing team should be able to develop and implement a marketing strategy that supports the development of distributed warehouses
2. They should identify new market opportunities and adapt the strategy to changing conditions

Desired Team Profile
1. It is important for the marketing team to have deep knowledge of the warehouse market, including trends, competition and customer needs.
2. They should analyze market data and make decisions based on it.
3. The team should define HOLKAP's customers as potential contractors for warehouse services and cooperators, which are companies that provide free warehouse space along with performing warehouse activities in them, and focus on the needs of customers and adapt the company's offer to their expectations.
4. Working for our company, the team should have the competence and knowledge to build lasting relationships with customers, which is key to long-term success. This cooperation is key to providing customers with a comprehensive value proposition.

Additional Information
We haven't seen similar organizational solutions anywhere else. This is a new, innovative approach to logistics management using vacant properties based on resource sharing. Therefore, finding a way to interest entrepreneurs in it will be something new that has no equivalent in marketing projects. We are interested in cooperation with companies in
Poland and abroad. For this purpose,
we have created a special website www.WebMagazyny.pl, which is used to acquire new customers and contractors interested in logistics services in the country and
abroad. We enable our customers to rent warehouses located in Bydgoszcz and beyond. Our offer includes the possibility of reserving space for a short or long
period - depending on individual needs. A warehouse properly adapted in terms of logistics, guarantees the best conditions for storing goods and products
- including large-size ones.
We want to provide warehousing services in various countries in cooperation with partners within
a unified logistics system and establish contacts with
manufacturing companies in Europe, including Poland and Ukraine, which send or will send various goods to Ukraine and from Ukraine to Europe as part of
the reconstruction of Ukrainian infrastructure and economy.
Companies that join us will be included in the Holkap system under the WebMagazyny brand. Customers from all over the world can use our warehousing services.
