Solving the technical reliability of a new product.
Initial Problem Description
RFID passive protection. By placing mobile phones in the box set out in the Annex, a device prevents interception of what is said during business negotiations. Protection is provided by a copper-containing fabric material. It actually acts like a Faraday box. Problems encountered: the design of the internal structure of the box does not currently provide 100% safety. How to convert? What measurement method can be used to issue a quality assurance?
Context
Radio frequency shielding is one of the outstanding areas of personal data protection. Our new product line is called b.lock, for which trademark protection is registered with the EUIPO. Shielding devices are developed taking civilian, military, police and other special needs into account. Our devices work passively, they do not emit any disturbing signals. The military data protection technology used ensures high shielding efficiency (75-110dB) and a wide frequency range of mobile communications (30MHz-40GHz). The devices are capable of blocking Wi-Fi, GSM, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC/RFID and FAB signals.
One element of the product family is a leather-covered wooden box lined with signal-blocking fabric to be used in negotiations, into which negotiators' mobile phones must be placed. Thanks to the signal-blocking fabric lining, negotiations cannot be overheard, no information about what has been said is leaked.
In some cases, the radio frequency insulation of the box did not work perfectly, the placed mobile devices answered a call during a meeting. This is not permissible in this product service. No box can work precariously. Reliable operation requires that the layers of signal-blocking fabric inside the box overlap perfectly. It is assumed that the box closure or interior design are related to the insecure operation.
The market launch of the product family began, the solution to the problem became acute.

Data protection in business and private life is one of the greatest challenges of our time, one of the core elements of personal privacy is the protection of personal data. Our product preserves the working integrity of electronic devices in the event of EMP or CME using passive protection. It provides efficient method to prevent, mitigate and respond to specific protection risks matching technological developments.
Input
We can provide the current design and detailed description of the box, with the instructions prepared for it and the infomration about the production process, as well as the capacity of the available machine park. The current level of RFID protective methods and tools are well documented and available through various sources.
Expectations
The technology must ensure perfect radio frequency signal blocking in all cases, similar to how doors in spacecraft work, for example.
The maximum planned cost added per unit of product is $8-10.
Product dimensions 28cm*22cm*13cm.
We plan to display the reliability of products with a certificate. It is desirable to establish a measurement method suitable for ensuring reliable operation of finished products. According to our ideas, we will receive technical/technological suggestions for a perfect closing method, or perhaps for a modified box interior design. We would like to receive the solutions in 3-6 months.
Desired Team Profile
We're looking for creative and innovative minds who are familiar with the RFID principles, understanding signal blocking, while see the benefits of data protection and able to see the relevance of our product line. The team members should have knowledge about the market and be able to interpret any data that we provide them, also the technical aspects and manufacturing requirements.
