Developing a digital platform in the field of fall safety – create GAZEK APP

Desired outcome

Our company distributes high-quality, self-produced fall safety devices in Hungary. In addition to the distribution, we also undertake the design and development of fall safety systems. Our goal is to ensure that working conditions in Hungary are safe for employees, thus reducing the number of workplace accidents.
Gazek's mission is to ensure that the employees of companies can do their work safely, whether it is working at height or at depth. In addition to the distribution of products, we also provide expert advice, training and review of fall protection devices. We offer a comprehensive service package to our customers.

Initial Problem Description

The challenge ahead is for GAZEK to achieve significant growth in Hungary by further strengthening its online presence. The aim is to reach as many users as possible in the field of fall safety through GAZEK. As a means to this end, the necessity of creating an app has emerged.
In this challenge, as the first step, we ask teams to conduct a market analysis related to companies engaged in fall safety in Hungary. This analysis should encompass the study of the target audience. Considering the market activities of competitors, we expect exploration of potential online platforms within this business segment that could boost demand for GAZEK products. One possible new platform is a proprietary APP, providing users with greater convenience and compact solutions.
We urge teams to develop a prototype of such an APP for the company, enabling online sales through a webshop and providing all essential and useful information about our company. The new APP should be compatible with our website.

Context

Based on the internatinal market, and our target audiences needs, we see that requiring various online tools is a basic expectation , which is the reason we are developing our online presence. In addition to our webshop, social media accounts we are very active in branding our company, strenghtening our portfolio with this new platform. We cover all aspects of our sales activities.

Connection to cross-cutting areas

We want to use the innovations of digitalization in our sales activity. We are planning to follow online marketing trends, integrating them to our developing online tools including the APP we would like to design through this challenge. This aligns with principles of circuilarity , as it promotes the efficient use of resources.

Input

Based on our experiences, our target audiences SMEs who are looking for safety devices are usually using mobil phones and use their phones to conduct business. Thus we have the best option to reach them through an online channel, in this case APP. Application should be available on the significant store applications (Apple Store, Google Play...)

Expectations

We are looking for a team who already have market research experiences, software development, content development.
Having basic online knowledge is also a plus. This APP is aimed to increase our sales inthe SMEs sector, strenghtening our presence on the Hungarian market. It should be compatible with our online shop. Using our excisting knowledge the APP has to provide users with greater convenience and compact solutions.

Desired Team Profile

Succesfull experiences in platform development is required. In addition to it, a minimal market data analysis, and basic desk research capabilities and competence to know how to integrate this information into the developing APP.
Experience in social media platform management (X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).

Additional Information

During the implementation this challenge, we will be in continous contact with the team, providing them with a necessary information and feedback of the progress.
Our company team will provide all necessary informations and visual items for the creation for the APP. In case of any question we will be available for them. Our team working language is Hungarian and English.
